More about Me: I sleep with dogs - five rescue dogs that keep this house a silly place to come home to. I love to write my way out of a box. Writing has kept me sane when at night I've worried about my mental health. I can figure out things by writing about them. My world is huge, but I find my happiness doing all the things I love close to home.

Favorite Books and Writers: I collect vintage garden books. No favorite authors, but I love journals and essays.

About Me: Author of "The Unfaithful Widow" a finalist in the 2011 USA Best Book Awards. Lead blogger for Lifetime Televisions online site for their morning show for women, 'The Balancing Act', antique dealer, jewelry designer and dog whisperer. I live with five rescue dogs that rescued me! I just closed my antique shop and have moved into three wonderful antique malls in historic Monroe, Georgia. I can have all the fun of being a picker, but none of the responsibility of keeping a shop. I found being in one place all day was not for me! I specialize in cottage style painted furniture, garden items and vintage style boho western clothing. Some of my posts have updated and that is because I pulled some together to rewrite for my new book which I am working on now. Essays on life with dogs as a widow hitting her fourth year on her own. I've just been made one of the lead bloggers for "The Balancing Act" and am looking for folks who might like to join my team.
