Happy Anniversary skirt! Atlanta!

So, if you’re wondering why I haven’t been blogging it’s because we have been in the whirlwind that was planning for our 2nd Anniversary Party  at MidCity Lofts last night.

The evening was outstanding! I felt so proud to celebrate 2 years with this magazine. I first got a spray tan at Spa Sydell. A too-naked-for-my-comfort-level experience, but I made it through. So I am extra brown. My boyfriend asked me if I took a trip to the islands that afternoon while he was at work. Thanks Tim! Here’s a shot of me with gorgeous Betty Nguyen and  TJ Holmes from CNN who helped us celebrate.

They were both so gracious and had a great time. After I got my tan on, I went to see Alyson Hoag from Authentic Beauty (www.myimagejourney.com)  and she did my makeup, our Director of Sales’s makeup and all our space girls who were beautiful. People were complimenting me all night. I wonder if I can have her move in with me and do it every morning!? Hmmm.... Here’s a shot of the “space” girls who benefitted from her beauty expertise.

Then I grabbed my dress, threw it on and headed to the party. Caren West PR had their team all over the place. (www.carenwestpr.com)  They worked so hard to make our event even better than last year. But the highlight of the night was getting to meet Debbie Allen and Patti Austin who both stopped by the party before their big Soul and Inspiration concert on Saturday at Phillips.
