I love to shop for The Boy.. I don’t know why I find browsing the baby boutiques so therapeutic. But I do. Perhaps it is the sweetness inspired by every little item I inspect. Those that produce the “awwww” factor in my mother brain. It could also be the relationships I have made with the people that own or work in my favorite little stores around Atlanta.Sometimes I get a little embarrassed when I walk through the door of a shop and am greeted with “Hello again! Back so soon?’ In defense of being labeled a shopping nut—there have been a lot of baby shower gifts to purchase as of late. Quite a boom in the baby crop of my social circle over the last few months!
Recently, I was invited to get a first hand sneak peak at the 2008 DwellStudio Baby & Kids line of linens and goodies atmy all time favorite baby boutique in Atlanta– Sprout! www.sproutatlanta.com
AhhhhhSprout...My Happy Place! As usual, I was like a kid in a candy store. I worship at the altar of Sprout and all things DwellStudio—some of the cutest prints and colors abound for mothers like myself that love a little sophisticated pep in our baby-motif-step!. I was delighted to pick up a few (eh hem… more than a few) items for myself—I mean The Boy! The Boy’s crib has been decked out in a DwellStudio Dots in Chocolate crib set since I was 7 months pregnant (that I also purchased at Sprout—clearly, the mother clientele/baby boutique relationship blossoms and blooms, just like the baby in the belly). And I found the cutest Transportation crib sheet t
A timely addition as he builds his vocabulary! He loves to point out the “train” or the “helicopter.” ! I have actually heard him talking about his new sheet after the lights have been turned out at bedtime.I also could not resist nabbing the Transportation Weekender Tote—and would love to pick up one of the Gio lemon weekenders for myself.

In the mood for some sweet shopping therapy? Need a baby shower gift? A special little outfit? Or looking for the perfect item to brighten your baby boudoir? I invite you to share in the joy of my happy place .If you are anything like me – you will leave the store with a “if I have another baby, I could get that crib set” brain working overtime— yikes!
