More about Me: I was born in Hawaii (no, you can't see my birth certificate). I have been to 6 European countries, and I learned that I get seasick while riding a water taxi in Venice. I am a faithful consumer of Starbucks mocha breves and breve mistos, and a sucker for a frozen Texas margarita. I believe I'm on the verge of something great (as we all are), and will work every day to find out what it is.
Favorite Music: Old school R&B...think Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan. You get the picture.
Favorite Books and Writers: Maya Angelou is probably my favorite writer. Her memoir, "Singin' and Swingin' and Getting Merry Like Christmas," changed my life. Paulo Coehlo's, "The Alchemist"
I can't live without: Red wine.
I am most proud of: The fact that I've been successfully self-employed for two years.
I am most guilty of: Eating whole bags of Dove Dark Chocolate in one sitting. It's insane, I know. But think of all the anti-oxidants in dark chocolate...

The world would be a better place, if only: Everyone would give themselves permission to just be themselves.
Interests: I love travel, writing, art, photography, red wine, and reading. I adore the color red and have always had great luck with the number 21. I believe everyone should have a bucket list (committed to memory), which they chip away at, bit by bit, every single day.

About Me: I’m a freelance writer, blogger and wanderlust who believes in trying (almost) any profession at least once. I have been (in this order): a production assistant at CNN, a TV news reporter and producer, and a TV news writer. I left the news media to work as an international flight attendant for a major US airline, long after flight attendants were no longer called "stewardesses" and the glamour of air travel had disappeared. I love art, historic homes, and the city of Paris. I’m passionate about children, the environment, and the plight of the working poor. Daydreaming for me is an art form, and I hope to one day write and star in a one-woman show on Broadway. I have the coolest 11 year-old son and the neediest 7 month-old puppy on the planet, and I’m alternately and regularly overcome with love for and driven nearly mad by, them both. Are you on Twitter?
